The Le Havre monolith was quite simply installed by Peppergraphik, the company who owns the space. “It started with a little delirium at the agency,” says Mathieu Le Corre, the manager. "We saw that happening on the networks and in two hours, it was up." The monolith stands at 2.5 meters tall.

A New Monolith was discovered in Glastonbury with lettering citing that it was not installed by Banksy, despite having Banksy-inspired on the monolith.
The monolith was also reportedly toppled the same day that it was discovered.

This mysterious monolith has been found among the scrap metal of a company in Leewarden, called Van der Meulen Metaal, a scrap factory. Nobody there knows how it got there, but camera images showed a huge flash of light just before it appeared...,

Vancouver's monolith brings something new to the party... music. This 10 foot tall, 2 feet wide monolith can be found right outside of the Vancouver Hack Space. This one is most likely a knockoff created by the Hack Space as tribute to all things sci-fi, as it will sometimes play the theme song to "2001: A Space Odyssey" and emit a variety of science fiction sounds effects.
In the Southwest of France, in Toulouse, France on Pech-David hill a monolith appeared for a single day on Wednesday before disappearing. The monolith had an engraved inscription that read: 12 - 13/06 43°34'22.7″ N 1°22'46.3″ E.
It was an advertisement for the Bricks music festival.
A new Monolith appeared 2.5 metre tall and about half a mile from the nearest road on the north of the Moor. Dartmoor National Park confirmed it had removed the pillar.

A monolith was found atop the historic Castle Hill in Kyiv, Ukraine. It is unknown who installed this monolith, with Facebook users joking that Elon Musk is behind it. Ukrainian commentators have joked that while not for aliens, the monoliths might be used for “healing covid”, “a base station for 5G”, and scrap metal for gypsies.
A monolith engraved with four coordinates was discovered in Adelaide. The monolith was sighted near the Seaford Train bridge in Noarlunga in Adelaide's southern suburbs at 6pm on Thursday.
The coordinates at this time, they reportedly point to:
- The first coordinates point at Trump Tower in New York
- The second Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park on top of Ayres Rock
- The third to an uninhabited island in the Northern Mariana Islands
- The fourth to the Sphinx in Egypt

Not all monoliths are built the same, and now not all monoliths are placed in particularly beautiful locations. A second monolith was found in Ukraine, but this time in the middle of the Makukhiv landfill near Poltava. This one is mostly likely a knockoff, but with good intentions in mind. The Facebook user who originally posted about the monolith hopes that it will attract attention to the devastating amount of human waste that is hurting people, animals, and the environment.
Two monoliths appeared in Poland in the same day. The one in Kielce is 2.5-3 meters tall, and the other is on the Vistula river. The Kielce monolith is made of steel, with a brushed brushed metal texture. It is currently unknown who placed the monolith.
On Friday, Dec 11 2020 it was examined by scientists from the Kielce University of Technology / Świętokrzyska Polytechnic. Professor Jerzy Piotrowski examined/analysed the monolith, and reported:
"It's a three-dimensional construction made from sheet steel, reinforced from within. The sheet steel appears to be of very good presentation [translator infers this to mean of high quality], it is sheet of 0.55 thickness. [Translator's note: units are not given, presumably either 0.55mm or 0.55cm.] It has good durability and hardness. By its appearance, I would judge it to resemble sheet steel that is usually manufactured for trade. As produced by a normal steelworks. It cannot be categorically established who manufactured it,"
On Thursday morning, hikers discovered a new monolith in Kanne, which is part of the municipality of Riemst, Limburg. Standing at around 1 metre 80 according to various media, it is smaller than other monoliths being discovered across the world.
On December 10, 2020, in the heart of the Jerusalem hills in Prlekija a monolith was discovered. In the center of Zagorje ob Savi Slovenia this monolith stood for a single day before disappearing like so many monoliths before it.
On Dec 10, a monolith appeared in the snow near Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany. It is unclear how the monolith got there, or if any humans were involved. The community in the area announced that they had no knowledge about it.
